Chinese, decoded.
Most Chinese learners do not have a vocabulary problem.
They have a structure problem.
Mandrix teaches adults how Chinese is assembled, so you can stop collecting phrases and start building sentences that work.

The Mandrix Method
Chinese you can build. Not just borrow.
Most adult learners freeze because they have collected phrases without seeing how Chinese is assembled. Mandrix surfaces the exact block, decodes the rule, then helps you build language you can actually use.
Find the pattern behind the freeze: word order, tone, register, or structure.
One clear rule can generate hundreds of usable sentences.
Leave with a script, template, correction plan, or sentence pattern you can use.
B.A. Chinese Language & Literature
M.Ed. Curriculum & Instruction
Founder
The teacher who asks “why” for you — so you stop guessing and start building.
Jane holds a B.A. in Chinese Language & Literature and an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction. But the real credential is simpler: she kept asking why Chinese works the way it does — why one sentence sounds natural, why another feels translated, and why so many adult learners memorize phrases yet freeze when it matters.
The answers became Mandrix: a logic-first system for adults who want structure, correction, and usable output instead of scattered practice.
Every student starts with 60 minutes: a written assessment, a blocker map, and a next-step plan.
A real learning brand, not a marketplace profile
Designed around clarity, correction, and structured progress.
Mandrix gives adult learners a calm place to understand Chinese clearly before investing in a full learning path.

Responding in real time. Chinese colleagues started including me in side conversations at work.

FAQ
Before you book.
Clear answers for the questions students usually ask before booking.
Is Mandrix suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. Mandrix is designed to help adult learners understand Chinese from the very beginning — without drowning in memorized lists or disconnected grammar rules. We start with comprehension, pronunciation, and usable sentences.
Is this focused on speaking or reading?
Both. Speaking confidence comes first — then reading and writing become easier because you already understand the underlying logic.
Do I need to study characters immediately?
No. We start with comprehension, pronunciation, and usable sentences before introducing character study. The foundation comes first.
Which program should I choose first?
If you're not sure, start with the free AI level check. You'll get an initial level estimate, your likely blocker, and a recommended Mandrix path before choosing a course.
How is Mandrix different from hiring a tutor on italki or Preply?
Marketplace tutors offer practice. Mandrix offers a designed system. Every lesson follows a fixed structure: goal, output, live correction, recap — and connects to the lessons before and after it. Jane also holds a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction, so the course is designed the way professional language programs are, not improvised class by class.
I've studied Chinese for years but still can't hold a real conversation. Can Mandrix help?
Yes — and this is one of the most common situations we see. The problem is usually not effort or vocabulary. It is that previous learning did not explain the underlying logic of how Chinese sentences are built and what makes them sound natural. The diagnostic identifies exactly where the gap is.
What is the difference between Real Chinese Communication and Cultural Logic?
Real Chinese Communication teaches you how Chinese people speak: casual contractions, tone particles, slang, and natural flow. Chinese Communication & Cultural Logic teaches you why they speak that way: indirect expression, face dynamics, and unwritten social rules that determine whether communication builds trust or quietly damages it.
Are lessons online?
Yes. All lessons are live 1-on-1 or small group classes online. After your booking and payment are confirmed, Jane will send your meeting link by email, WhatsApp, or Telegram.
How does payment work?
Choose your program, pay through Jane's PayPal link, then submit the booking form with your payment reference. Jane personally reviews every booking within 24 business hours and sends your meeting link directly. You are booking time with the founder — not a platform.
Can I reschedule?
Please contact Jane at least 24 hours before class. The new class time will be arranged based on available time slots.
What if I book the diagnostic and decide not to continue?
That's completely fine. The $29 diagnostic stands on its own — you'll leave with a written level assessment, a list of your main blockers, and a recommended study path. You keep that regardless of what you decide next. If you do enroll in a course within 48 hours, the $29 is credited toward your program.
I'm nervous about speaking Chinese with a teacher for the first time. Is that normal?
Very common — and the diagnostic is specifically designed for this. Jane works with adult learners every day, including people who haven't spoken Chinese in years or who've never had a formal lesson. There's no judgment. The goal is to understand where you are, not to test you. Most students say the diagnostic felt more like a conversation than an exam.
How long are course plans valid?
All course plans are valid for 3 months. Private Intensive plans are valid for 6-12 months. You have enough time to complete lessons without rushing.
Still deciding?
Every week of random phrases is a week your Chinese does not compound.
Start with the free AI level check first. If the result feels accurate, you can book Jane for deeper sentence correction and a human learning plan.
